What we are aiming at

This site targets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 at level AA. That is a standard rather than a certificate, and this page says where we actually are against it.

What is built in

Text and background colours on this site are contrast tested rather than assumed, and the measured ratios are recorded in the build. Body text on white measures about 11.7 to 1 and the primary button measures about 6.8 to 1, against a level AA requirement of 4.5 to 1.

Every page uses one H1 and heading levels that do not skip, so a screen reader can navigate the structure.

Interactive controls are at least 48 by 48 pixels with separation between them, which is stricter than the 44 pixel level AA floor.

Form fields have real labels, required fields are marked in text as well as visually, and errors are announced rather than only coloured.

Frequently asked questions use native disclosure elements, so every answer is present in the page for assistive technology and for search crawlers rather than being built by script.

Browser zoom is not disabled. You can zoom to 200 percent and the layout reflows.

Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative images are marked so they are skipped.

Known gaps

This is a new site and this list is honest rather than aspirational.

The site has not yet been tested with a screen reader by a person who uses one daily. Automated checks and manual keyboard testing are not a substitute for that, and it is planned.

No captions or transcripts exist yet because there is no audio or video content. If video is added, captions will be part of it.

If something on this site stops you doing what you came to do, we want to know, and we will treat it as a defect rather than feedback.

No public email address is published on this site yet, because no verified address exists for this brand. Please call the number on this site and say that you are reporting an accessibility problem. If reaching us by phone is itself the barrier, that is exactly the sort of thing we need to fix, and a published inbox will be added here when one exists.
